No CHESSA registration required as from Januarie 2009. The CHESSA registration fees are now covered by the chess tournament fees.

2008 SAJCC News:
Congratulations to our chess players who performed so well during the 2008 SA Junior Chess Championships. Our following chess players received board prizes in the team event:
AB Grundling : Under12 board 4
A Van Wyk : Under12 board 6
In addition, our under 12A team came 3rd in the Candidates section.
In the individuals, Surine Louw and Theuns Botha did extremely well. Theuns came 12th in the Boys u/16 division while Surine came 4th in the Girls u/14 division.
